There are many different Kinds of Violence and not limited to Domestic or Sexual Assault. Dowry-Related, Son Preference, Suicide, Elder Abuse, Hate Crimes, Female Genital Mutilation, Migrant Worker Abuse are to only name a few.
Violence can be perpetuated by or within an individual, a marriage, a family, a community and even the nation at large. Many female infants are victimized even before they are born. Owing largely to deeply rooted cultural and social expectations.
