Meaning of the word Nimarta

Nimarta means utmost humility.  It is a very commonly used word in Punjabi language to describe such an uncommon virtue.  It is truly a very beautiful name.  The root for the name "namar=humble" appears on page 1014 of the Guru Granth Sahib.

If you dissect the name Ni-Marta or Ni-Martha then the literal meaning is no-death or does not die or deplete.  If you use the nick name "Nimmi" then it means to be conceived (as in nimmia (conceived) in the mother))

Nimarta seems to be the most popular way to spell the word even though there are several variations.
